Video Sharing – UMaine

The advent of video sharing sites have made communicating through moving images almost effortless. These sites allow users to upload video and share it with the public at large or invited guests. Most video sharing sites also enable other types of social communication such as text/audio/video commenting, like/disklike-based voting systems, profiles, traversal through profile connections, as well as many more.

    Just questioned this week by a viewer of my Channel on youtube, why would I post my students great videos on such a terrible site? Why not. I need to upgrade the level of videos.

    Video sharing is just like any other tool, it only works if you use it. YouTube is just a big boil store, the are shelves full of stuff you don’t need and you have to hunt for the good stuff. But, there is lots and lots of good stuff to be found.
